2 Bangladeshi girls return home serving jail in India

Two Bangladeshi teenage girls returned home through Benapole checkpost on Monday night after serving four-year jail in an Indian prison, reports UNB.

They are—Shilpi Khatun, daughter of Babul Hossain, hailing from Dinajpur district and Fatima Khatun, daughter of Moslem Sarder.

Shilpy Khatun said that a gang of human traffickers sent them to Kolkata alluring them of giving job.

Later, Kolkata police arrested them for intrusion and sent them to jail.

An Indian court sentenced them to four years imprisonment each and sent them Kolkata Central Jail.

On completion of their jail terms and legal procedure, Border Security Force of India (BSF) handed them over to Border Guard Bangladesh at the checkpost at night.
