Dynamites sign David Miller for BPL 2019

South African hard-hitting batsman David Miller will come to enthrall the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Dhaka Dynamites.

The left-handed swashbuckler signed a deal with the 2016 BPL champions to play the BPL-7, which is scheduled to roll onto the ground in December 6.

Miller’s signing came just after the announcement of Australian all-rounder Shane Watson who has inked a deal with Khulna Titans on July 18.

The globe-trotting player played in IPL, CPL, BPL and County Cricket beside South African Twenty20 Leagues. Miller earlier played for the BPL franchise of Chittagong Kings, currently known as Chittagong Vikings in 2013, in which he had scored 41 runs in three games. He played for Kings XI Punjub in IPL, St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs in CPL.

The southpaw represented South Africa so far in 70 Twenty20 Internationals, whereby scored 1291 runs. Miller, known as ‘Killer Miller’ for his ruthless batting, played overall 291 T20s for different franchises across the world, where he smashed three centuries and 40 half-centuries with a staggering total of 6400 runs in his kitty.
