Bashundhara Group has provided Tk 15 lakh to the families of three journalists died of coronavirus as part of its continuous support for the fight against the fatal disease.

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, managing director of Bashundhara Group, handed over a cheque for Tk 5 lakh to each family of the three journalists on Sunday, according to a press statement.
Three journalists died of coronavirus are Somoyer Alo city editor Humayun Kabir Khokon and senior subeditor Mahmudul Hakim Apu, and Bhorer Kagoj crime reporter Aslam Rahman.
Sharmin Sultana Rina, wife of Humayun Kabir Khokon, Arifa Sultana, wife of Mahmudul Hakim Apu, and Fatema Rahman, wife of Aslam Rahman, received the donation at a simple function at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-1 in the capital.
Expressing gratitude to Bashundhara Group, Sharmin Sultana Rina said the family is really grateful to company for providing the support in the situation.
Among others, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor NaemNizam and KalerKatho Editor ImdadulHaq Milan were present on the occasion.
