Chicken Pakora Recipe

Chicken Pakora is an easy-to-make delicious snack recipe, suitable for monsoon and winter season with a cup of hot tea. Ingredients like gram flour (besan) and rice flour gives this pakora an amazing crispiness, while onions, ginger-garlic and chilies give this pakora a spicy yet mouth-watering taste.

Ingredients of Chicken Pakora

1 kilograms chicken boneless
2 cup refined oil
water as required
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
For Marination
2 medium onion
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic paste
6 green chilli
1 teaspoon ginger paste
salt as required
For The Main Dish
2 cup gram flour (besan)
4 teaspoon rice flour 


How to make Chicken Pakora

Step 1
The first step is to prepare the marinade for the chicken. Make a paste of the onions, green chilies, ginger and garlic, lemon juice and salt. Marinate the chicken chunks with this paste. Let it sit for about 40 minutes.

Step 2
Next, prepare the batter for the chicken. Mix together the besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder and water. It should be of thick consistency.

Step 3
Now, take a pan and heat oil in it. Dip the marinated chicken pieces in the thick batter and put it in the oil. Deep fry the pieces until they are golden brown. Make sure to put the chicken pieces in batches.

Step 4
Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
