‘Majnu Ekjon Pagol Nahe’ goes on air tonight

Starring National Film Award winning talented actor Chanchal Chowdhury in the title role, a new drama serial titled ‘Majnu Ekjon Pagol Nahe’ is set to go on air tonight at 10pm on RTV. The drama is written by prominent playwright Brindaban Das and directed by Sanjit Sarkar.

Alongside Chanchal, two audience-admired actresses Farhana Mili and Shahnaz Khushi will be seen playing two important characters in the drama serial.

Chanchal Chowdhury has been an admirable name among the viewers for playing all unique characters on both small and big screens.

With his brilliant performance, dedication and commitment to acting, he has become an important part of the country’s tele-dramas, telefilms and films.

Chanchal Chowdhury said about acting in the drama serial, “I always say that the biggest strength of a drama is a good script and this drama serial’s biggest strength is the brilliant script of Brindaban Das.” He also added that the audience is irritated with the unnecessary comedy and he believes the audience will like the drama serial made with required elements.

When asked about the story, playwright Brindaban Das told DhakaLive that the story of the drama revolves around Majnu--a simple and soft hearted man, who is being told that he is an insane from the childhood in order to take control of his inheritance by his relatives.

The drama serial includes many of the talented artistes like Fazlur Rahman Babu, AKM Hasan, Dr Ezazul Islam, Pran Roy and Shamima Tusty, among others.

‘Majnu Ekjon Pagol Nahe’ is scheduled to air every Sunday to Tuesday at 10pm on RTV.
