A group of final year students of Anthropology department of Chittagong University (CU) yesterday formed a human chain at 12pm in front of the university registrar building demanding announcement of exam schedule. In the human chain the demonstrators said “The university authority was supposed to hold the examination eight months ago.

But till now we don’t see any symptom to do this.

We demand the Chittagong University (CU) authorities to arrange the examination as soon as possible.” Imran, a student of the department, said “We don’t take part in our examination due to internal feud among the teachers”.

“We have already talked to the vice-chancellor in this regard. He assured us that he will talk to the chairperson of the department in this regard”, he added. When contacted NM Sazzadul Haque, chairperson of the department, said “We are ready to take the exams.”
