Selim and Tareen’s ‘Shapad’ to be aired today

After a hiatus of two years, talented actress Tareen has acted once again under the direction of noted actor-director Shahiduzzaman Selim in a telefilm titled ‘Shapad’. DhakaLive has news that the telefilm will be aired today at 3pm on Channel i.

Shahiduzzaman Selim said, “The story of the tele-film is only two lines and it revolves around an empathe. However, during production I had to bring out every aspect in front of audience as the story of ‘Shapad’ is unique than the family, romantic and native dramas which are getting produced now. The entire tele-film has to be watched in one sitting as the scenes in it are connected to each other and I am sure the audience will like it if they watch it in one sitting. Even though I have an actress at my home, Tareen is my first choice as per as an artist’s reliability is concerned. If I have a good script in which the character needs to come out with a lot of effort and Endeavour, Tareen did give a splendid performance.”

Tareen said about working in the tele-film, “First of all, I want to say Shahiduzzaman Selim is my favourite director and I feel very comfortable working with him. Although he works very less, yet nobody should ignore his direction capabilities as brilliant directors are now needed the most. I immediately cancel all my other works when I get proposals from him as I know there will be needed utmost dedication working under him in the shooting.”

Tareen worked last time under Shahiduzzaman Selim’s direction in the telefilm ‘Du Fota Samudra’ that was also aired on Channel i. l
