Natyakendra to stage two plays today

Natyakendra, one of the prominent theatre troupes in the country, will stage their two audience-admired plays ‘Bondukjuddho’ and ‘Gadhar Haat’ today at 7pm at the Mahila Samiti in the capital’s New Baily Road area. The play ‘Bondukjuddho’, based on ‘The Trap’ by Egyptian playwright Alfred Farag and ‘Gadhar Haat’, based on ‘The Donkey Market’ by Egyptian playwright Tawfiq al-Hakim--have been adapted and directed by Tariq Anam Khan.

Nasirul Huq Khokon has designed lights for both the plays, while Khandakar Sazia Afreen Lubna has done the costume design.
The tickets will be available before the show (5pm onwards) in front of the venue.
