7 Jubo Dal, Shibir men held with 5 molotov, crude bombs

Police in separate drives arrested a leader and an activist of Jubo Dal and five activists of Chhatra Shibir along with five molotov bombs and three crude bombs from different areas of the district town, reports UNB.

The arrestees were identified as Shariful Islam, joint organising secretary of district unit of Jubo Dal and its activist Belayet Hossain Benu while the activists of Shibir include Imarn Hossain, Jakaria Hossain, Mosabbir alias Shihab, Jahid Hossain and Rabbi.

Akram Hossain, senior assistant superintendent of Joypurhat Police (Headquarters), said that police arrested Shariful and Belayet from their respective house along with the bombs on charge of sabotage. They also detained five Shibir men conducting drive at different student messes of the town.
