Border Security Force (BSF) handed them over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through a flag meeting at noon, said Altaf Hossain, officer-in-charge of Godagari Model Police Station.

The returnees are Anarul, 35, son of Tabul Ali of Raninagar village in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district, Sultan, 33, son of Taibur Ali of Shahpara, Jahirul, 37, son of Yusuf Ali of Munnamara village of the upazila, Mursalin, 21, son of Aminul Islam of Kosaipara of Sadar upazila and Basona Mandal, wife of Jaydeb Mandal of Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka district.

Later, the BGB men handed them over to Godagari Model Police Station. The returnees said they entered the Indian Territory for construction work and they were held by Indian Police.
