2 killed in Cox’s Bazar gas cylinder blast

Two people, including woman, were killed in a gas cylinder blast at Adinath Temple in Moheshkhali upazila on Wednesday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The duo was selling gas balloons in front of the temple where a 7-day fair was being held on the occasion of Shiva Puja of the Hindu community, said Prodwip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Moheshkhali Police Station.

On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, re[prts UNB.
