SM Nazer reelected vice-president of CAB

S M Nazer Hossain has been reelected the vice-president of central executive committee of Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) for next two years.

The annual general meeting and election to executive committee of CAB was held on February 9 at Segunbagicha in the capital.

Moreover, Golam Rahman, former secretary and chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission, was elected as president, SM Najer Hossain as vice-president, Advocate Humayun Kabir Bhuyan as general secretary, Harun-or-Rashid as accountant while Dr. Shahnewz Chowdhury, Professor Dr.

Shaiful Islam, Miss Munira Alam, Abdus Chattar and Engineer Izajur Rahman were elected as its members.

With Golam Rahman, the president of CAB, former secretary and chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission, in the chair, Advocate Humayun Kabir, the general secretary of CAB, presented the work details of last year and Abdus Sattar, accountant of CAB, presented the financial report in the annual general meeting.

Nazer Hossain, also the president of Chittagong unit of CAB, has been involved in different activities of CAB since 1997. He established private organisation named ISDE and involved in the establishment of some other human development, human rights organisations, reports UNB.
