RAW POULTRY: When it comes to raw poultry, you can keep in the fridge for a day or two, that too at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or colder. And in the freezer, it can be kept for a year at a temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.

BACON AND SAUSAGES: Raw sausage should be consumed within two days and you can eat bacon within a week of storing it in the refrigerator. Both of them can be frozen for a month.

HOT DOGS AND LUNCHMEATS: They last for not more than two weeks in the refrigerator, unopened. It is advised that they should be consumed within three to five days of opening. And in the freezer, they should be kept for one to two months.

DELI SALADS: Deli salads can last for three to five days in the fridge. It is advised not to freeze them.

EGGS: Eggs can be refrigerated for up to a month raw but if they are boiled, do not keep them for more than one week. It should be noted that only egg whites or beaten eggs (yolks and whites) should be frozen and not the whole eggs and they last for up to a year.
