Apu Biswas to spend a busy birthday today

Today is the birthday of National Film Award winning popular actress Apu Biswas. Unlike other years, the popular actress is going to spend a busy birthday this time around.

Before heading to all other activities of the day, Apu has planned to cut a cake with her only son Joy in the wee hours of birthday to set off the celebration.

Apu informed DhakaLive that she will participate in the celebrity talk show ‘Taroka Kathan’ at 12:30pm on Channel i on the occasion of her birthday. She is also scheduled to take part in yet another show on  eve of Puja on the same channel at 4:30pm.

As a part of her birthday celebration, the actress will attend a programme organised by her fans this afternoon. Besides, choreographer Ivan Shahriar, a friend of Apu, will arrange a special event to celebrate the actress’s birthday.

On the other hand, teaming up with popular actor Ferdous, Apu will perform at a programme today evening at the Engineers’ Institute in the capital.

Apu said about her birthday, “I am going to spend a busy birthday today compared to other years. I have already been informed about a few arrangements surrounding my birthday while some of the plans are kept secret from me. I am really enjoying the matter. My birthday always makes me realize more and more that everyone loves me so much.”

However, Apu Biswas, accompanied by her son Joy, will fly to Singapore on October 13 as the actress is set to perform in a stage show there on October 14. This is for the first time that Apu will be taking Joy with her to a profession trip, and she is very excited about it. The actress is planning to roam around different cities of Singapore with Joy after the show. She will return to the country on October 17.

Meanwhile, Apu has almost completed the work of her new film ‘Shoshur Bari Zindabad 2’ directed by Debashish Biswas. Also, the shooting of her yet another new film ‘Kanagoli’ is likely to start soon. l
