After a hiatus of two decades, renowned singer Tapan Chowdhury has again lent his voice to a song titled ‘Ai To Besh Aachi’ written by eminent lyricist Shahid Mahmud Jangi.

Tuned by Alauddin Mahmud Samir, the music direction of the song has been given by Sumon Kalyan.

DhakaLive has news that the lyrical video of the song is already available on the official YouTube channel of Laser Vision and is earning admiration from the viewers.

Earlier, Tapan Chowdhury had lent his voice to another song of Jangi titled ‘Harano Dinkey Jodi Firey Ami Pai Tomake Ar Firabona’, which was tuned by the late popular musician Ayub Bachchu. The song was a huge hit.

Later, the singer sang a couple of more songs composed by Jangi.

When Asked about the latest number, Jangi said, “People will find Tapan Chowdhury the way he used to be at the beginning of his singing career. As always, Tapan sang amazingly. Along with him, young singer Shorolipi has also lent her voice to the song.”

“After many days, I sang a song according to my liking. The lyric, music and the arrangement of the song touched the heart. My co-singer, Shorolipi, also did a great job. I have been getting a positive response from the audience since the song was released,” Tapan Chowdhury said.

Tapan Chowdhury will be performing tomorrow in a musical programme titled ‘Gaane Gaane Shokal Shuru’, directed by Ananya Ruma, at 7:30am on Channel i.
