Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday handed over a job appointment letter to Mahmudul Hassan Noman, brother of Sonagazi madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi who was killed in a fire set by miscreants at Sonagazi in Feni.

Noman got the job as Trainee Assistant Officer in NRB Global Bank, sources said.

Chairman of NRB Global Bank Nizam Chowdhury was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, Nusrat’s parents AKM Musa, Shirina Akhter and two brothers met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in Dhaka.

“The perpetrators who burnt Nusrat to death will not be spared from the hand of the law in any way,” PM said.

Nusrat, who was set on fire on April 6 by miscreants, succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 10.
