‘Rhythm Divine’, a blend of music among the three layers of life, will be held today at the EMK Center in Dhanmondi of the capital. The musical event will feature Arnab Bhattacharya on Sarod, accompanied by Nilimesh Chakraborty and Badal Chowdhury on Tabla.

Arnab Bhattacharya, apart from being an engineer in Computer Science and Engineering, he is also an Indian Classical Musician.

He is deeply involved in music for the last 23 years.

Prior to receiving intermediate lessons, Arnab Bhattacharya started learning Sarod from his father Swapan Bhattacharya. Afterwards at a very tender age he came under the guidance of Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta and became a talented torch bearer at Senia Shahjahanpur Gharana. It was under the guidance of his Guru that he achieved perfection and learnt the rich repertoire of Senia Sahajahanpur Gharana.

His music is an excellent blend of traditional and modern form of Indian Classical music which sets apart as a youth face of the Indian classical music that connects to all the generations alike. And this has been possible owing to the unique ability to weave the most intricate textures even at extremely high speed maintaining the purity of the Raga which is definitely unparalleled.
