Shomi says sorry to reporters

Noted actress and president of E-Commerce Shomi Kaiser yesterday apologised for her misbehavior with the journalists over the stealing of her two smartphone sets. Earlier, in a programme at the National Press Club two of her smartphones were stolen but at that moment her guards locked the programme venue and wanted to search the guests including the journalists.

One of the journalists told The Independent that the guards checked bag and baggage of every journalist.

When some journalists wanted to leave the place after checking but the guards stopped them not to leave and called them ‘thief’. It made the journalists angry over the comments of the security guards.

Later, a video footage taken by one of TV cameraman showed that a worker of logistic support stole the sets. After that Shomi said 'sorry' to reporters. She said, “It was a misunderstanding with the reporters. ”

Meanwhile, journalists condemned and expressed anger over the misbehavior.
