Shahed wins the title of ‘Banglabid Season 3’

Shajedur Rahman Shahed from Bogura won the title of ‘Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid Season 3’. The result of the knowledge-based reality show was announced at a gala event at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Friday evening.

Shahed, the champion of the contest, got a scholarship of Tk.

10 lakh, while the first runner-up Ankita Zannat from Mymensingh and second runner-up Ayon Chakraborty from Barishal got the scholarship worth Tk. 3 lakh and Tk. 2 lakh respectively.

Moreover, each of the top 10 contestants received a laptop each and books worth around Tk 50,000 and bookshelves to build their personal libraries.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni was present as the chief guest at the grand finale of the reality show, while Ispahani Limited Mirza managing director Shakir Ispahani and its director Mirza Ali Ispahani were present as special guests. They handed over the awards to the winners.

Omar Hannan, general manager of Ispahani Tea Limited and high officials of Channel i and Ispahani were also present at the event.

A judge panel consisting Dr Soumitra Shekhar, renowned writer and poet Anisul Hoque, media personality Tropa Majumder was actively involved with the whole process.

A special segment of the grand finale included a music performance by Syed Abdul Hadi, who was accompanied by a bunch of young artistes.

‘Banglabid’ has been one of the most popular TV reality shows in the country for the last two years. Ispahani Mirzapore has taken this initiative to motivate the young generation to practice and use Bangla language in an appropriate manner.
