Model and actress Sharmin Zoha Shoshee, known for her performance in ‘Hajar Bochhor Dhore’ (2005), will be celebrating her birthday today, but she has decided to leave aside the usual fanfare.

To mourn the death of Mahfuzur Rahman Khan, national film award winning cinematographer who also worked in the actress’s maiden film, Shoshee plans to hold a silent birthday without holding any programmes.

Sharmin Zoha Shoshee became a popular face in the country’s entertainment industry with her big screen debut in ‘Hajar Bochhor Dhore’ (2005), directed by Kohiniur Akter Suchanda.

Thus, the actress always carries a special relation with the film and its crew, she said.Regarding the departure of the cinematographer, Shoshee said, “To tell the truth, the people who worked closely in the film ‘Hajar Bochhor Dhore’ has a special attachment to me inside my heart.

A few years back, the associate director of the film Belal Ahmed passed away. Now, the film’s cinematographer, respected Mahfuzur Rahman Khan also left us.”

“Every person associated with the film is dear to me, the sudden departure of these people makes me very sad. A person like Mahfuzur Rahman Khan comes rarely among us. May Allah the almighty grant him Jannah”, she added further.
