Shakib expects Tigers return with success

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka
Shakib expects Tigers return with success

Shakib Al Hasan said Bangladesh are quite capable of delivering their best shot in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan.

Considering Pakistan’s recent T20 runs of form, Al Hasan believes that Tigers will return home with some sort of momentum.

“I wish the whole team so that they can reach safely in Pakistan,” said Shakib Al Hasan. ‘I am expecting a solid performance from the team.

Hopefully they get back home with success,” Shakib told at a programme in the capital city yesterday.

“When Sri Lanka played last against them, they won the series 3-0. So, I think we should do the same,” he added.

Shakib, currently serving two-year ICC ban with one suspended year from all forms of cricket, said that he talked to head coach Russell Domingo on a regular basis.

“I'm still in touch with the head coach. I always talk to him and other coaching staff,” he said.

“When you have been dealing with any activity for a long, you will definitely miss that. It’s no matter whether you like it nor not. It’s quite natural and that’s not indifference for me as well. I'm missing cricket and that's very natural.
