With an eye to revamp the Women’s World Cup T20 tournament opener defeat against India, Bangladesh national team will take on mighty Australia in their second Group A fixture at the Manuka Oval in Canberra today.

The match is scheduled to kick start at 2pm BST.

Ahead of the clash, the Tigresses conducted a practice sessions under the supervision of head coach Anju Jain in Canberra where they were seen going through fielding and catching practice followed by a warm-up at the ground. With the defeat, the Tigresses are languishing at the bottom of the Group A points table with NRR of -0.900, although the Salma Khatun led side played a match less than Sri Lanka, who lost both their matches to New Zealand and Australia

In the meantime, India Women, who got off to a flying start with two consecutive victories, are currently leading the standings with four points with a healthy run rate of +0.875. New Zealand Women are sitting at the second place while Australia at third position.
