Riyad urges all not to be impatient in staying home

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka
Riyad urges all not to be impatient in staying home

Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad has urged all to stay at home in any way to curb the contagious coronavirus pandemic.

Riyad said all the people to be focused more on safety measures and don’t be impatient to stay confined in quarantine.

The experienced all-rounder expressed all in his video message.

“Maybe many thought that we would stay at home for so many days. We’re doing our chores, staying at home.

A fatigueness may come to many having stayed home at a stretch for which many felt bored,” Mahmudullah Riyad said.

“It may be thought that go downstairs for some time and talk with some few. Walk a bit from the turn ahead. If it comes to someone's head, we brush aside it. Staying home at the moment is the best safe and timely demand because what it is needed for me and my family, it is also much needed for other people? So, stay safe and let others stay safe,” Riyad said in his video message.

So far 48 have been reported of coronavirus cases in Bangladesh. Of them, 15 have returned home after having come round for whom Mahmudullah gave all credits to doctors and nurses.

“It’s not needless to say those who were employed as doctors, nurses and related to treatment in attending the patients of the coronavirus, I warmly thank them all. During the great danger of the COVID-19, you all have come forward and served the people of the country; I want to thank you all from my heart. I believe you will be rewarded for your novel work, Inshaallah,” the spin all-rounder said.

Mahmudullah requests all the professionals to stand beside the working people during the moment of crisis.

“We have to notice that those who were working people became unemployed at the moment. It’s needed to stand beside them. We’ll try all to come forward and help them from our respective positions,” he concluded.
