Russel recognised as corona fighter

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka
Russel recognised as corona fighter

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel has been given recognition for lending his helping hands to the troubled people amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

He has been staying beside the helpless people in time of their crisis following the deadly COVID-19 spread.

As a mark of recognition for his dedication towards the suffering masses, International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) recently acknowledged him as the ‘Corona Fighter’ along with a certificate.

Russel not only rallying round his constitutional area, but almost the entirety of Gazipur district. He is also lending his hands to the people of National Sports Council (NSC) and the Youth and Sports Ministry from where he took initiatives to help a good number of athletes, who’re passing their days amid financial hardship.

As a young member of the parliament, he has been playing important role in this crisis period on even wider scale, which is why his activities were not limited to giving financial helps.

Sources concerned said he also helped set up a PCR Lab in Gazipur and provided transportation to the law enforcement members, emergency workers, doctors and nurses.

The junior minister also did an important work organising a mobile team comprising the doctors and nurses to visit door to door for the treatment of the people.
