PM mourns death of AL leader Abul Kalam

Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Tangail’s Dhanbari upazila AL vice president Abul Kalam Azad Bakal.

In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Abul Kalam Azad breathed his last at 5pm today while undergoing treatment at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital here at the age of 68.

He left behind his wife, a son and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
