Two people were killed 12 others injured when a cement loaded truck collided with a Saudi Paribahan bus in front of Baroawalia college this morning.

One of the dead was identified as Shawkat, 24, hailed Chandnaish upazila but the identity of another deceased was not confirmed.

Dohazari Highway Police Station OC Mohammad Yasir Arafat told BSS that a Chattogram bound Saudia bus collided with a Cox’s Bazar-bound cement laden truck. The Saudi bus overturned and the truck fell into a road side ditch.

Two people were killed on the spot and 12 received injury. The injured have been shifted to Lohagara Upazila Health Complex and Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
