Shakti Foundation celebrates Eid-ul-Azha with distressed people

Shakti Foundation, a non-government organization, distributed foods among 100,000 hungry people across the country marking the Eid-ul-Azha.
The organisation took the initiative as part of its effort to help people in the wake of coronavirus pandemic and flooding in different districts of the country, said a press release.
Inspired by the strong desire of the Shakti staff to stand by the people, the foundation made the charity called ‘Ek lokkho ahar, Ek lokkho Hashi’.
 Robi Telecom was media partner of their campaign.
One lakh hungry people were fed on the occasion of Eid with the funds formed by the Eid bonus of the employees of Shakti Foundation, and donations of various great people including the own funds of the foundation, the statement said.
On August 3, food was delivered to 396 branches of Shakti Foundation across the country in various working areas, especially orphanages, orphanages for disabled children, old age homes and ashrams for helpless women.
