Appeal for help

Ayesha Akhter, 50, wife of late Shafiqul Islam, has been suffering from cancer for the last one year.

She, hailing from Darichandarbari Village, Paiska union of Dhanbari Upazila in Tangail, is now under the supervision of Kazi Iftekhar Uddin in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Doctor said Ayesha underwent a surgery a few days ago but for her full treatment she needs more money.

Her son Asaduzzaman Asad, a day labourer in profession, said they had to sell their little asset for his mother’s treatment.

But now the poor family is unable to run the treatment though she needs it immediately. So her family members have appealed to the prime minister and affluent people of the society for financial assistance to save Ayesha.
