BCB’s show cause notice to Tamim angers Comilla players

Comilla Victorians will turn up today’s Qualifier game against Dhaka Dynamites in a bid to a gift a victory to their captain Tamim Iqbal. Tamim was served a show-cause notice by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for his grave criticism towards the wicket.

Even though other players like Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and even some foreign players criticised Miurpur’s wicket, the show-cause was only sent to Tamim, which angered the total Comilla Victorians team and left the cricket fraternity surprised.

However sources said BCB’s show-cause to Tamim Iqbal angered the Comilla Victorians so much so that they want to give a befitting reply by winning the trophy and for that they firstly need to overcome the hurdle of Dhaka.

When asked Comilla coach Salahuddin tried to avoid the fact but said, “I don’t know whether the incident angered the players or not but Tamim has the opportunity to play better cricket in this wicket.”

“Tamim helped Bangladesh win a Test against England and Australia in this wicket by playing two great knocks. I think he has the chance to show his skill level once again.”
