‘Yanmar Agro Tech’ launches in Bangladesh

ACI Motors has launched ‘Yanmar Agrotech’ at a hotel in the capital on Wednesday, a press statement said. ACI Motors had signed an agreement with Japanese company “Yanmar” in 2018.

In accordance with that agreement, both the companies are working together to develop the agriculture sector of Bangladesh by introducing and developing new technologies.

Launching program of Yanmar Agrotech was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Md. Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque attended the launching propramme as chief guest. Hiroyasu Izumi, ambassador, Japan Embassy in Bangladesh, and Hiroaki Kitaoka, president, Yanmar Agribusiness CO. LTD, Japan were present as the special guests.

This advanced sensor type Yanmar Combine Harvester is suitable for the land and paddy of Bangladesh.  It enables farmers to cut the paddy of muddy land and also lodged paddy. In addition, it consumes only 7-8 liters of Diesel per acre. This harvester can save 61 per cent cost and 71 per cent labour, the statement added.
