Anti-drug bicycle rally held in M’singh

With the slogan ‘Say no to drugs’, a bicycle rally was held in Mymensingh city on Friday.

Dhaka Round Table, a social organisation ,in association with BD Clean, Mymensingh, a voluntary organisation,arranged  the rally.

Around 400 young cyclists from four bycycling organisations took part in the 12-kilometre rally started from city’s  Zero Point on the campus of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

The participants carried different banners and festoons against the bad impact of drugs in the society.

Additional deputy inspector general of police (Mymensingh Range) Dr Akkas Uddin Bhuiyan, Mymensingh police superintendent Shah Abid Hossain and coordinator of the rally advocate Motiur Rahman Foisal were present at the inaugural session of the rally.
