Saif looking for consistency after successful Sri Lanka tour

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka

Bangladesh 'A' team opening batsman Saif Hasan has said he is getting himself ready to expolit every single opportunity through consistent performance with having an eye to enlist his name into the national side.

Saif while talking to the reporters at the academy ground of SBNCS said, “I'm already preparing myself to register my name in the list of the national team. I have been working hard on my fitness and also trying to improve my batting and fielding skills. Whatever lacking I've, trying to improve on those areas so that I can play for the main team.’’

Bangladesh is set to start its ICC Test Championship journey in next month against India where the Tigers will play two away Test matches. Regarding this issue Saif told reporters, "My selection for the India series will depend on selectors. It's on their hands. My job is to keep concentrate on my performance. If I can perform well, there will be opportunities for me,’’ Saif, who smashed an excellent ton (117) in the series decider, talked about his selection for the upcoming India tour.

"I've been playing good cricket since the Premier League from where I actually tried to change myself. I played well in Sri Lanka, had some good knocks against India. Now I'm trying to keep that momentum forward and exploit every opportunity, Saif concluded.
