Bangladesh U17 unfazed by security issues in Pakistan

BSS, Dhaka

Bangladesh under-17 players are not fazed by the security issues in Pakistan, rather they are firmly focused on their game.

Even though there has been no official announcement yet about the tour, the youths are set to visit Pakistan for two three-day matches and two one-day matches.

Under-17 head coach Mizanur Rahman Babul said that he doesn’t witness any kind of anxiety in the players mind as they are totally committed to cricket and left the security issue on Bangladesh Government’s court.

“I don’t think the players are worried about playing in Pakistan,” Babul said here on Sunday. “The security issue is totally up to the Government.

What they will say, we’ll just abide by it.”

“The boys are going to play, they will play, that’s the attitude they have. They don’t have any headache with other things,” he informed.

“As far as I know, this tour is confirmed. The official announcement has not arrived yet. We have that will to do something well. How we have to win, how to execute- we are working on these matters.”
