Tipu off to Australia to join trade conference

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi left the capital early yesterday for Australia to join the ”Australia Bangladesh Trade Conference, 2019′ at the Inter Continental Hotel in Sydney from November 13 to 15.

Bangladesh High Commission to Australia, in association with the Australia Bangladesh Business Council (ABBC), is organising the conference for discussing potentials and challenges for greater bilateral economic interaction, said a press release.

Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Australia Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ABCCI) are associates of the conference.

At the trade conference, the commerce minister will lead a 39-member business delegation from Bangladesh. Later, Tipu Munshi will leave Australia for New Zealand to join a bilateral meeting with minister for trade and export growth of New Zealand. He will stay there from November 17 to 19.
