BAPA FoodPro International Expo to commence Nov 23

Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Rainbow Exhibition and Event Management Services Ltd. (REEMS) are going to organise a three-day long 7th Edition of BAPA FoodPro International Expo, from October sss21-23 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.

The purpose of the expo is to create a bridge in between local and international market and to introduce international technology and products at the fair premises.    

The largest show on Food Processing sector titled 7th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2019 will take place with two concurrent expo titled “9th Agro Bangladesh Expo 2019” and “6th Rice & Graintech Expo Bangladesh.”

This is known to be the robust platform for the organisations who are involved in this sector to exhibit their products and service to the Bangladeshi Market and to expand their business.

BAPA was found in 1998 with 13 members with some specific objectives such as, to protect, develop, support and promote all measures and steps toward growing, producing, processing, manufacturing and marketing at home and abroad of all agricultural items to includes fruits, vegetables, horticultural products, field crops, mushrooms, dairy, poultry and fisheries etc.

It also intends to establish a non-profit organization that will bring together and represent processors of all types of agricultural products and supporting industries to include field crops, horticultural items, mushrooms, fruits and vegetables, dairy and poultry, fisheries & other agricultural items.

Currently, BAPA consists of 300 members who are exporting into 144 nations worldwide with an export value of USD 372 Million and the total export value in this sector in Bangladesh is USD 700 Million which is to be expected to rise above USD 1 Billion by the year 2021.

7th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2019 is Bangladesh’s only show on food products, food processing and packaging products and machineries. It will attract all stakeholders from the retail and wholesale food, beverage service sectors generating new connections and new business for everyone involved.

The expo will remain open for all from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm in the course of three days.

There will be companies from 15 countries worldwide. The fair will consist business matching session along with technical sessions where industry experts will present their views on specific topics about the sector.
