Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman M Khairul Hossain yesterday urged the large companies to raise fund through the capital market for avoiding the complexities of bank loans, reports BSS.

“The merchant bankers should bring companies having good fundamentals for the sake of their own image,” he said.

The BSEC Chairman said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) new office held at “Hotel 71” in the city’s Bijoynagar area. Khairul Hossain also unveiled the logo and launched the website of the BMBA, said a press release.
